Season 2 picks up two years into the first term of Danish prime minister Birgitte Nyborg (Sidse Babett Knudsen). Far better than House of cards on my opinion, because it doesn't need big actors, shakesperian dialogues and great events to tell the complexity of politics and still make it clear and entertaining.
It paints a picture of dark deeds in an otherwise sane and civilised nation.
