Pool suited our needs perfectly! of this region, including Uluru or Ayers Rock, and Kata Tjuta, also known as the Olgas. Whether staying on powered or unpowered sites there is access to grass (surprising out here!) New management is recommended.Awesome campground and facilities.
Showers were great with a decent shower head. Guests can also head next door to the Outback Pioneer Hotel for a civilized meal and a beer.
The Resort also has a Petrol Station, Auto repairs and a free shuttle bus circulates the Resort. Good access to basic camping gear at the store and the pool is a winner with the kids and adults!
TheyAs far as affordable accommodation for families at Yulara goes the campground is the best option. Over priced food, drinks and petrol is expected but the shops have run out of basic foods currenly, so come prepared. Great place to cool down and relax in the heat of the afternoon and even better a night swim after sunset. Pool is open from 10am to 730pm only and is regularly closed due to "maintenance" and does not open til 1pm the town shop ran out of ice 3 days in a row and we were abused when asking when they expected more to come in.
