Driving directions: From the New York State thruway take the Utica exit #31 and follow signs for Route 12 North. We called Eage Bay Village on a whim, hoping there would be accommodation available. The cottages all have lake views with porches, and fire pits. We stay in the newer 5 bedroom home, but the old cabins are just as nice. This makes it easy to keep an eye on everything that is going on. I keep coming back to Eagle Bay because of the wonderful beaches (shallow enough for small children), the peaceful evenings around the fire and the location to other attractions.

From the road you can't imagine how pretty the view is. The lager waterfront includes a wonderful beach and plenty of seasonal and transient dock space for water craft of various sizes (ours an 18ft ski boat).
