Best VR Headset for Elite Dangerous (2020) I am a Premium Beta (2014) backer of Elite Dangerous and I can say that without a doubt ED is “THE BEST SPACE SIM IN VR”. Some threads suggest to run ED without Steam, but I don't know how to turn on the Vive without Steam VR. The X56 has extra thumbsticks compared to the older X52 (which is also good) which gives you the extra axes needed for space sims. Or better, is HOTAS Warthog™ really better than T.16000M FCS Hotas for this game in VR mode? Google diagram available here. Hi, new to Rift and VR and just purchased Elite Dangerous and a Thrustmaster T1600 Flight set (Hotas/Throttle/Rudders) but no idea how to get this working together.
