We were in nr 9, almost the last one, and thus very secluded. Unfortunately due to the COVID restrictions, the spa was closed, as a massage would have topped off the day. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and despite the retreat being full, we felt we had the place to ourselves. The fire was such a novelty, as was sitting out on the sun loungers with a glass of wine in the evening and watching the sunset over the ocean, and then just looking at the stars at night. Welcomed with a goodies basket filled with all your breakfast essentials and even a little wine and chocolate. Reception is only open till 5pm which I think is normal for this area. We were not aware that you had an issue with the bed which we can assure you is of the highest quality nor the microwave which we could have attended to immediately if we were made aware of a problem during your stay. The decor was so beautifully done - really peaceful and tranquil and the views of the ocean were spectacular. We did a treatment at the spa, my husband a massage and me a facial...again a wonderful experience. We would most definitely recommend a stay here. We opted for a couples spa, which was amazing, we had champagne & fruit whilst we had a spa, then both had a full body massage, we literally floated out of our session, it was sensational. I really cannot recommend Both the accommodation & the Day Spa enough and we cannot wait to return.Great room right in the middle of the resort. The welcome hamper and wine showcased some of the local delicious treats, and I don’t think I have ever cooked breakfast with such a view before. Embrace all of this because we did, you come here to relax and be on holidays not to be on a phone or working.This has to be without doubt one of the best 2 night stays we have had in Australia.
