I was playing an online multiplayer game Fortnite. No matter the case, a CPU temperature should play around 75-80 degrees celsius when gaming. You might consider adding a case fan or two if your case isn't well ventilated, but I wouldn't worry about doing anything else really.neither of those temps would cause the graphics card or cpu to throttle, they are ok temps.
95C on Fortnight is high. You might consider contacting Support anyway in such case. Going to msconfig can help check the startup apps.If you still aren't satisfied, You can also contact HP Support for a warranty issue.Tbh it looks like I mistyped it. Guys I have some cpu probs in my Nitro 5. Just keep an eye on things.
... and I think the computer should be, it's usually because the fans haven't kicked in yet, and the CPU is getting hot! This really didnt happen until the weather started getting hot and my room temperature as a result. 80c for the gpu is a bit warm but not ridiculously hot for a graphically intensive game either. Normally when i run a game like Overwatch for example, the highest id normally get is maybe 45 if that. Also, turned the fans to always on from the BIOS. Question i7-4790k 100 degrees Celsius while gaming: Question Ryzen 7 2700x running at 115 degrees while gaming.
At full load, the CPU reaches a maximum of 60°C while gaming, while GPU only reaches 50°C. The ambient room temperature is around 25°C on normal and can get upto 28° in the daytime. Specs: Intel i5 7400 3.0GHZ Zotac 1050 Ti 4GB mini
The room being fan cooled could be 22c or 35c and will make a difference to overall system temps. CPUs: 1: Wednesday at 10:54 PM: W: Question How hot will my Ryzen 5 3600 be while gaming? That means tossing that stock cooler.Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts. Just make sure your case has adequate ventillation, a couple of 120mm intake (lower/front) and a couple 120mm exhaust fans (upper/rear) is a good start.
The computer will stop working if it gets too hot... if its still working, no problemo. Setting the processor performance to 99% min/max is necessary, as well as setting all display/nvidia settings to Performance.Haven't undervolted yet. cpu cores 60c while gaming/streaming for hours
62C for 45nm SOI is just wrong on so many levels,... oh well. Up until purchasing OMEN, I had two "w" class Elitebooks and had no problems at all, one of them endured heavy CPU and GPU usage for almost 5 years. And so came the OMEN, because I thought one can have a laptop powerful enough for games and durable enough for ant IT work, including some video editing and 3D.
Generally speaking getting much above 80-90C is definitely danger territory but some components thresholds are much lower. For a better experience, please enable JavaScript in your browser before proceeding. Just assume that it is just a regular behaviour and HP just can't do any better and next thing they buy is some brand named after a fruit that just has a better QC? - ambient temp vs idle temp vs cpu load temp (using prime95 after 20min) vs gpu load temp (after 10min). I've been playing Battlefield 4 (at High/Ultra) and CPUID has been reading that my laptop has been running at about 60 to 70 degrees (sometimes reaches 75 degrees). Mid 60's c for an i5 isn't hot. You must log in or register to reply here. Im just a little worried and any help would be appreciated!60°c is pretty much safe while gaming. It would help to know what your actual ambient room temps are, what case you have and what the fan setup is. And I have only owned this laptop for over 1y.So, few hours later after propper cleaning and repasting here are the results (same ambient temp):EDIT: forgot to mention that on no load (I pushed it to 100% CPU and 100% GPU for hours) it ever reached full automatic fan speeds. It still amazes me how can a respected brand's, I dare to say premium product pass quality control in such cases. Stuttering in games can be caused by a variety of different reasons, from slow hard drive read speeds to poorly optimized games.
When CPU hits 100% usage I … When warmer than around 176 degrees F, processors throttle down and performance drops. If you have an AMD CPU you generally don't want it to exceed the lower 60c range whereas intel is fine into the mid 70s and maybe a bit higher.
