Rhaenys was trying to diffuse the tension and stress that was clearly already built up in Aegon. He was tall, powerfully built, and charismatic in nature. It was these images that made him doubt himself. Orys would argue with Daemon, and place doubt on Aegon, but when one of the women got involved, he knew the game was up.

The servant darted out the room and closed the door. Aegon was just beginning to enjoy himself when he was rudely interrupted by a servant bursting into the room.The servant opened her mouth to speak but closed it when she realized what Aegon and Rhaenys were doing. He was seen as the sensible one in the preparations, looking at the finer details whilst Aegon looked at war. "Wouldn't that annoy Harren? Aegon knew that his ideas would not be received well, his council were more cautious than he was, but he had seen himself as King, and knew it was his destiny.

While Visenya was too busy with what she called "affairs of state", Aegon and Rhaenys would always be playing with each other. Rhaenys closed her eyes and moaned.
