There was a rain storm on the day we arrived and the flies were dreadful - nothing the resort can do about this but they make every effort to minimise the hassle to guests from the flies. The daily morning and evening excursions on day 2 and 3 included in our stay were expertly lead by well trained guides and were excellent and most enjoyable, despite wearing face nets and having hundreds of flies buzzing around us. I selected chicken parmigiana off the everyday menu - not ideal, but could have been nice but instead was totally inedible. When I opened the door and she went inside, her remark was "This isn't very good is it". To others reading: these are incredibly tough times for us as a company and for our industry at large. The pool s nice, but if you pick the fly season as we did, don’t plan to use it. They only change the linens once every 3 days so it isn't as thought the cleaners are hard pressed in their duties as there are only 15 rooms in total. We have relaxed our cancellation and amendment policies to offer all guests with existing bookings the opportunity to amend their stay to future dates into mid-2021.
