Great little cafe with hot food and scrummy cakes. This is my first time trying the Silk road café and I'm happy to report good things. The moussaka was entirely acceptable, just right on the slightly-above-average side. We could have spent hours looking at all the books etc and will be visiting it again next time we are in Dublin. The staff are genuine and attentive. Lovely staff. 13K likes. And always a pleasant surprise for Dublin - it is very reasonably priced for the quality of the food! Wish we could've explored all of it but our purpose was to see the portions of ancient Bible manuscripts they have here dated from just a few hundred years after Christ.

We sat in the bright outer part of the restaurant. I especially enjoyed the soupThis little cafe was pointed out by a local, and it is fantastic!My mother reminded me of this place when I was choosing somewhere to meet a friend.
