Buying from the ticket office saves you a ton of money - just a $5 fee per ticket and that is it for additional charges.If I was reviewing The Fillmore after my first concert there, it'd be a different story but each time I go there, I feel a little sleezier than the time before. There were probably 1000 people in line when we arrived. This venue is MASSIVE with 6+ bars, food options and plenty of different vantage points each offering stellar views. Through the years, it served as several different venues, including the Mammoth Roller Skating Rink and Mammoth Events Center. Ticket people are fast too.

I've seen a fair amount of shows there from Rise Against, Wilco, Bad Religion, 30h!3, and the list goes on. They did check bags but even that was efficient. Holy smokes, some people need to take their comments to the proper channels, i.e. We pushed our way to the front, so the long, flat floor wasn't a problem (and I'm 6'3). There is not a bad seat in the house, even though I'm only 5'4.5"! I hate how they do business. MORE . They get some of my favorites here  Moe.

It's right in the middle of downtown so parking sort of sucks. It's the absolute worst.The worst concert experience I've ever had in my 12 year history of going to concerts very frequently all over the world. The sound sucks...the sound is just bouncing off of everything and sounds like poop.

Good thing my tickets were free. (Caveat: I hate LiveNation with an undying passion. This is a great small to medium sized venue with tiered viewing areas. I'd rather see a show at a much more intimate venue, with significantly better drink prices, and much better sound. Very stuffy and always humid and hot. On arrival, a sign said seat yourself, so I wandered out to the patio. Restrooms were clean. While the sound system is decent, and you can pack a ton of people in there, the fact you have to pay $12 for a beer is ridiculous. Sound quality was good.
