Rude. Dark red and cold is rare- not medium. The people that work here are rude and inhospitable. we ended up sommers else...and it didn't work out well.

The Current and Jacks Fork Rivers make up the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, one of the premier National Parks in the United States, and are beautiful crystal clear rivers offering outstanding scenic landscapes the entire year. The Landing is located on the banks of Current River in the foothills of the Missouri Ozarks in Van Buren, MO and is Current River’s number one resort destination. turns out you have to ask very VERY specific questions in order to get an answer about anything from the front desk at the Landing. 36K likes. Also getting any information about the surrounding area from the front desk was like pulling teeth. Remove the political merch from the shop so the float trip can be about the float trip. A VERY small, lazy town.

We definitely will not be going back.Just stopped for a meal as we were passing through Van Buren. No garish decorations or outlandish fads. The Landing, however, would be special in any town it was located. If this restaurant was in New York, it would have Michelin's 5 Star Rating.I went for dinner and music with husband and two friends after paying for dinner was asked to leave and go downstairs. Easy ride up to drop off point and the River was beautiful. Worth the stop!Worst ever customer service for a float trip provider.

It is enjoyable for both beginners and experts. So, we waited for over an hour once again for other people to give us their tune once they got off the river. Food was amazing at the restaurant. They Do Not represent our beautiful town !!!!!!!! There were plenty of open tables the hostess just wanted to show she was in charge and we had to do what she wanted she had No respect. You won't go wrong with these guys!Worst place EVER!!! Once we arrived to purchase the inner tubes the lady at the desk was very rude. The Landing - Current River, Van Buren, Missouri. Will come back again. The Landing, however, would be special in any town it was located. However the river was nice after waiting so long.Stayed at The Landing during the week in July, and was placed in a room in The Rosecliff Building. You will regret it. After getting our tickets we went down the stairs just to see some crappy black inner tubes that we paid over $90 for. 'Pros:  Staff was nice, Rooms were clean, Float trip returns you to the hotel, restaurant on location and food was good.Nothing special here. This was experienced while eating at the restaurant on-site called the Blue Herron. The gift shop should be about the float trip, the property itself, and possibly the town....you know, what a normal gift shop should be like. I had steak both nights! The wait staff was friendly and fast. The food is overpriced and barely edible. The float trip was a blast. Definitely deserves a higher ranking on Yelp than the current 7 of restaurants in VB. Once we found our tubes we waited about 30 more minutes for the bus to pick us up.

This was very frustrating because we waited in line for so long and didn't even get what we wanted. We stood in line waiting to get a ticket for rafts and canoes for over an hour. It's THAT bad.this definitely is a prime location for a weekend at the current river but the customer service leaves something to be desired. The towels had stains on them and the room was disgustingly gross. HORRIBLE experience. Not to mention, not too pricey.AMAZING! This place is where we SHOULD have stayed when we came up. The dining area is homey and intimate for starters.

Should be #1! Average food.

They have plenty of tubes and also have tubes to float your cooler down the river. Wow! There were dead bugs in the sink and the toilet hadn't been cleaned in weeks. We are a family of 4 with 2 teens. The pictures make it look okay, but it isn't at all what the pictures look like.....stay anywhere else but here!! By the time we get to the front of the one register line to rent our tubes the lady decides to text on her phone like 5 minutes. I can understand if it was a gift shop not on the premises owned by an outside party. We are open year round, offering a “four season experience” of Current River.
