We are open 7 days a week 11AM - 5PM I don't know how the wine is but the service sucks.We actually only read about Wise Winery and it sounded good. However, each person we asked said they were too busy to help us (we just wanted a bottle). Oh I forgot to mention as we were packed on the other bar we look over at the bar we were kicked out of and sadly see other visitors sitting there having a wonderful experience. Their name is on there to be signed off after free tastings are given. It was happy hour which happens only on Wednesday and Thursday s so my Pinot was only $6! Our events are managed by a team of experienced professionals who have widespread experience in catering, restaurants and special events.
The man points us to the other bar which was packed and only one seat left (there were two of us). The food is unbelievable, the atmosphere is beautiful, the beer has a great selection.
It was 9:55 and we saw that this was open for another five minutes. See my pictures for the prices and menu. We told him we never had a server and then he walked away. We get a pourer with zero personality. If it weren't for my friend and the Living Social deal I probably would've never discovered this place. When I move to the area, I'll be here every week for the best of dines and food.I won a free wine tasting card from the placer county wine association that they belong to. So many great wines to choose from. It says clearly across the card "Free wine tasting" at all wineries. We went to the bar to ask for service and place an order. Parking is a mess. Thank you for your interest in Firestone Vineyard for your event. I dont think this restaurant is bias against younder people like some of the other yelpers mentioned. The have a nice patio with yummy food, I had lunch with a friend on a Sunday afternoon outside.
Don't go there on a holiday!! Firestone is located in a unique cusp region. No smile.. Just a flip of the wrist to see what time it was. I surprisingly ordered a glass of the Pinot noir rose as it was flavorfully light and cold. We normally offer wine tasting, our full service bistro/restaurant, gourmet dinners & lunches, wine club membership, monthly events, weddings, and private events.
The flatbread had a tiny bit of cheese on it missing the end pieces, the salad had about a handful of greens, and the tomato soup was served cold.

There seems to be ample parking and the directional signs to the tasting room are helpful. I don't mind paying a little extra for fancy food when I'm at a winery but their portions were tiny and they seem to skimp on as much as they can. Whether you're coming for lunch or a tasting, Wise Villa will not disappoint :)I don't know what number I am in the count of victims so far, but this is but one of two places I've ever left a review on entirely based on service. Definitely a gem of a winery in the placerville area.Very frustrated with this place. This man came swooping down on our experience like the bird on their label and ruined it. Thank you for your interest in Firestone Vineyard for your event. We understand the challenges that you face when planning an event. Not only is the view of the vineyard beautiful, the villa is my kind of place where I had wine tasting ranging from a Chardonnay to a Cabernet, seven wines in all, for $9! We bought deals for a tasting and food pairing and a tour of the winery.
