Susan is crying deeply until Mj runs out saying that Dave told him to get out of the car, Susan is happy and then checks that Mike is okay, he is and steps out of his car, the two kiss passionately in the heat of the moment and Dave is sent to a mental prison. The whole story of her having an affair with that married man, she seemed utterly depressed and broken.The best thing the writers done for her character development was kill Mike. Susan surprised him with a small wedding because she didn't want to put pressure on him for a big, expensive wedding. Katherine believes that her and Mike have a chance and thinks that his and Susan's marriage is failing. Susan then locks Katherine in a closet, she breaks out and a scene ensues after Mike and Susan are wed. Susan then apologizes publicly. After that, Zach made it clear that he felt Paul was his father. Ian's partner died, Mike woke up and that meant it would never work.I'm on season 5 now and the latest thing that has pissed me off about Susan is the fact that she could no longer be with Mike after the car accident, even though it clearly was not any fault of her own, or Mike's. Mike tells her that his dad used to beat up his mom and he couldn't do anything about it, but he tells her that he does get scared.

She’s happy to use him to cure her loneliness rather than just learn to be happy alone.After Susan and Mike reconcile and re-marry, not once does she consider Catherine’s feelings or even genuinely apologise to her. Paul tells the story of how he and Mary Alice bought Zach from her and moved to Mike goes over to Susan's house, saying that she still has his pants, due to the moving in that never proceeded, she says she knows and lets him retrieve them. I'm re-watching Desperate Housewives right now and I actively sought out this subreddit because Susan's character annoys me SO MUCH.
