The Domaine Serene Wine Lounge is located in Sentinel Hotel and conveniently accessible from both bustling SW Alder Street and Sentinel’s lobby. Two keys here- make a reservation and don't come on a weekend. If you like exclusive, private areas for members only, with pricey memberships and expensive wines, then this place will be right up your alley. Domaine Serene, a family owned winery started as one 42-acre hilltop estate logged in the beautiful Dundee Hills of Oregon, now produces wines from six individual vineyard estates. Nice choice of wines to taste as we were offered 4 whites and 4 reds.

The servers are very knowledgeable, but also very pushy with their wine club, which prides itself on being very exclusive. Absolutely the fanciest winery we visited in the area, though a little pretentious.

We ordered a chef's tasting menu and they were considerate of our needs in many ways. Domaine Serene in suing its former winemaker, Tony Rynders, alleging that he stole the trade secret for making Coeur Blanc, a white wine made from red Pinot Noir grapes. I love the location and the view. I was invited by friends and I do not drink so was not sure if I would be bored or feel out of place. We look forward to welcoming you here or downtown Portland again soon!A friend and I decided to meet for appy's and wine tasting. Went to Domaine Serene last weekend with friends from the east coast. Prices are high but you get what you pay for! Opted to go for the 45thParallel experience. Another treat, one of our guests enjoyed was a frozen wine. The waiter was super accommodating helping us taste different wines until we agreed on a bottle to share. The food was fantastic. The food choices are phenomenal, not to mention how delicious their wines...Had some great wine and fantastic entrees! Each course provide two samples, one local and one from their French estates. We will return.We went here on a sunny Sunday. Thanks TJ for making our afternoon so absolutely wonderful.

Definitely going to come back here. In a horizontal tasting with friends of four different Domaine Serene bottlings from the 2011 vintage, it became readily apparent why this house continues to enjoy such high esteem. Menu is priced at $80 per person, excluding tax, gratuity and surcharge. Domaine Serene’s Wine Lounge incorporates a private event space, a tasting room with a food menu, a retail store, and a hospitality and pickup spot for club members who don’t want to drive out to wine country themselves. The whole property is beautiful and very CA Mediterranean in appearance. They burn through winemakers and lack the consistency these other greats provide.Always a highlight for me in the Northern Willamette Valley.
