My laptop's cpu & gpu temperature reaches about 70 degrees when playing.
When my PC is idle, it goes around 30 and 40 degrees. These are the normal GPU temperature if you play the game for 4-5 hours. CPU: Core I7 8700K.
But this temp range decreases more if you live in a cold country.
It's a bit warmer than I'd like, but it's still just barely safe, and you're not going to get any better temps on the stock cooler if your ambient is 30 to 40 celsius. I personally would get an aftermarket CPU cooler if I were in your shoes just so you would have some headroom if your room got really hot, things get dusty or your GPUs are throwing lots of hot air into your case. When i play game like Heroes and Generals, it goes up to 72c. I have an Intel i5-3470 3.20GHz CPU with a stock cooler.
It Should Be fine i play games and it reashes 60-70 degrees celcius But If your Laptop is making noises form the fan you are better off resting the laptop if yourgame is lagging while your laptop is at 70 degrees you are better off getting a better laptop or cooling pad GPU: Nvidia 1080. © Valve Corporation. What’s The Safe GPU Temp While Mining.
There are better performing heat sinks out there for under 40 dollars that will perform pretty close to any corsair liquid cooler.
I can see my cpu is running at 1.4v constantly and is idling around 70c. Unless the cpu/gpu is above 90*C it's fine Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts. anything above 85c (sustained) is dangerous, 70c is quite good Is it safe enough or should i get a better cooling pad?
Is a 60-70 CPU temperature bad for CPU?
Under 90*C is safe and perfectly quite normal for laptops when under high loads for long periods. I tried the MSI bios on a x570 board and cannot find a Normal cpu voltage setting to try.
As just a note check the CPU fan and make sure it isnt stuffed up with dust He just replaced his old power source with a EVGA 850W G5 GOLD. JavaScript is disabled. All trademarks are property of their respective owners in the US and other countries.

I also wonder if a better psu like 400w or 500w can reduce heat? Only worry about temps over 80c.I think just because they are safe doesnt mean your CPU is not degrading faster than a CPU that is cooler. So my boyfriend just yesterday replaced his power supply because his computer was crashing and cpu was running poorly. I’m gonna start off by saying I know absolutely jack about PC’s hence my coming here for advice. I … 70°C is perfectly normal for any GPU under load.
I have tried the power plans and cant see any difference. All rights reserved. Can anybody help me, I have checked most of the threads discussing this issue but cannot find anything that works for my setup.
