Finally the biggest disappointment was the menu. Preorder to. Plus there was delicious cream cheese frosting too.
Be one or the other!! Frankly I don't understand all negative feedback, diner is still same diner, just newer and cleaner. Unbelievable inI used to come here in the mid to late 2000's with my family and I've always liked the place. Enter an address. Finding several spots open in the parking lot, close to the door, should have been the first sign of what was to come. !Goodbye Tick Tock diner, it was nice knowing you.

I was really in the mood for a good juicy diner burger with steak fries.We stopped in to visit family on the way from the airport down to Cape May and this was about in the middle for everyone. If it's good enough for Mich Jagger and The ROLLING STONES , it's Good enough for Me. We create the most decadent American and ethnic dishes for everyone to enjoy. The omelet was not good at all.
They have a total of maybe 20 menu items. Where's my avocadoooo, chick peas & spinach ?????? My faves are the combo appetizer (wings, chx fingers, and mozz sticks) and 3 egg deluxe bfast. Womens bathroom smelled like they never cleaned it before and had no tp in any stall. Very disappointed!! 82 Food was good; 87 Delivery was on time;
It was about 10pm and we didn't want to walk outside in the cold to get snack/ drinks. Cost $40 for two people (approx.) Seriously, McDonald's would've been better, seriously- for real. My father ordered a rare pastrami burger & I ordered disco fries for the table, lobster bisque & a Cuban sandwich.This was the first time I've eaten here, but was brought by a group that has been coming here for years.
Just the worst. Our drinks came out in good time. When the food arrived mine looked nothing like the menu picture as several items listed weren't on my plate and other items were there instead. We were able to get a booth right away & our waitress wrote down our order. The prices also were hiked up.Finally I had a chance to go back and try newly remodeled Tick Tock diner. We ate 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner here. Classic New Jersey Diner on Route 3 in Clifton "Food continues to be great, and bfast is served all day. I liked the food, still good and hearty meals. I asked for wAter and I was directed bu Diana to the bar to asd them. After I got my water she saw me finished my drink and said goodnight in a sarcastic sound. Are they offering takeout, delivery, or both? The Athens Omelet was tasty and the hash browns hit the spot! I'm kinda pissed that I wasted one on my NYC meals here. It's a complete disaster. I would still go again!The renovations absolutely KILLED this place.
