The location is perfect - close to our Catholic Church in Newmarket (2.4 miles away!! We had "babysitters" from UNH to guide arts and crafts for the younger kiddos. It was seamless and stunning. It was truly the best day, and would not have been possible without the team at Thompson Inn and the beautiful wedding venue they have created.e venue would come together by our wedding in June of 2018. The venue failed to provide the reception building on time as promised (the bride and groom were notified on the eve on their big day) and the venue’s alternate accommodations (to save face) were poorly planned and I use the word “planned” lightly. 120 **** I was so impressed with the venue, staff, and food that I asked that they consider hosting a celebratory dinner for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. We had our grandparents staying on the first floor of the Inn onsite, so when they were tired, they could easily scoot away. The porch provided the perfect place for cocktail hour, and the heaters made it perfect place on the chilly October day.
