I get the same jolt of adrenaline as when I am actually out there fishing. It's a slow, gradual weight on the line, and I feel like a gentle lift of the rod is probably more effective than a swift hook set.Surprisingly the 15 inch squid pulled hard enough to take some line from my reel. The lure being used was an atom striper swiper, angler was letting it sink mid water depth then short rips and pauses. It's easy! This was the morning that the biomass of squid reached the west end and at first the fish were shying away from everything being thrown with the squid so thick.
